This Policy explains what data the TERA: Phoenix Administration receives when you use the website, launcher, game servers, and support, why it is needed, and what options are available to users.
Use a unique password and never send it to project staff. The Administration does not request your password in emails, chats, or support requests.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to TERA: Phoenix services and does not cover third-party websites, applications, or payment forms. These services process data under their own rules.
The TERA: Phoenix Administration is responsible for data processing within the project. You can contact it through the support section on the website.
2. What data we receive
The data collected depends on the features you use. We may receive:
- registration data: login name, email address, and a protected representation of your password;
- technical data: IP address, browser and operating system type, device or session identifiers, request times, error logs, and security event logs;
- game data: characters, progress, inventory, in-game actions, chats, complaints, penalties, and other history of interaction with the server;
- support request data: message text, attachments, and information you provide to support;
- transaction details: amount, currency, payment status, and payment identifier. Bank card details are usually received directly by the payment provider.
3. Why we use data
Data is used only to the extent necessary to operate and protect the Service.
- creating accounts, signing in, restoring access, and providing game features;
- synchronizing progress, running events, and processing digital purchases;
- responding to support requests, reviewing complaints, and handling appeals against penalties;
- detecting cheats, fraud, account compromises, errors, and other threats;
- analyzing stability, improving features, and producing anonymized statistics;
- complying with mandatory requirements of applicable law.
4. Grounds for processing
Depending on the circumstances, processing is necessary to perform the User Agreement, is based on user consent, is required by law, or serves legitimate interests in securing and developing the Service, where these grounds are recognized by applicable law.
If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out and may make unavailable a feature for which the data was necessary.
7. Retention period
Account data and game progress are generally retained for as long as the account exists. Following deletion or prolonged inactivity, some information may be retained for as long as necessary for backups, dispute resolution, prevention of repeated violations, and compliance with the law.
Technical logs, support requests, and transaction details are retained for a reasonable period according to their purpose. The data is then deleted, anonymized, or isolated until the mandatory retention period ends.
8. Data protection
We use organizational and technical measures, including access restrictions, secure connections, security event monitoring, backups, and storage of passwords in an irreversible protected form.
No method of transmission or storage provides absolute security. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, change your password and contact support.
9. User rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access to their data, its correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, obtain a copy of the data, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing methods.
Requests are submitted through support. To protect the account, verification of identity and account ownership may be required. Some information cannot be deleted immediately if retention is required by law or necessary to prevent abuse.
10. Data of minors
The Service is not intended for independent use by persons who cannot give valid consent to data processing under applicable law. Where necessary, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
If you believe that a minor's data was obtained without the required consent, report this through support.
11. Changes and contact
This Policy may be updated when the Service, processing methods, or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date are published on this page.
Privacy questions and requests to exercise your rights should be submitted through the support section. Do not include your password, full bank card number, or other unnecessary confidential information in your request.
